Founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2019, MISS MAIA is the creative brand and business of Tracey Gardner.
MISS MAIA re-imagines traditional Māori designs in bold, imaginative and contemporary ways. We LOVE creating unique products which allow others to express their own creativity, personality, values, culture and whakapapa (identity) with our bright, retro, futurist designs that each have their own story to tell.
Tracey launched MISS MAIA online (www.missmaia.co) offering futurist jewellery and accessory designs with a Māori flavour. Tracey and her family returned to NZ in 2020 and so MISS MAIA is proudly and firmly based on the beautiful whenua of Ngāti Awa in Whakatāne, New Zealand.
The brand is mostly known for its bold and contemporary statement acrylic jewellery designs so this MISS MAIA MERCH site has been set up to offer new and loyal followers, other ways to experience our MISS MAIA designs. All MISS MAIA MERCH are sold as limited edition pieces where x100 of each item listed will only ever exist and be printed. We'll continue to add new designs to the range so keep checking back in.
